Viral Video: Man saves woman from attacker in Ireland

A viral video shows an Irish good Samaritan saving a woman from a violent “predator” after she was attacked by a man described as “one of the many new predators roaming the Irish Streets” among increasing waves of migrants relocating to Europe.

In a video shared on X, formerly Twitter, an Irish man can be seen coming to the aid of a woman who was crying and screaming after a suspect attacked her and pinned her to the ground. The “Concerned Citizen” social media account wrote, “Man saves Lady becoming victim to one of the many new predators roaming the Irish Streets. Treasonous Governments are enabling this.”

John Kavanagh, a sports and fitness instructor, also shared the video on social media and said that the video was taken by one of his students who was “rescuing a girl from a violent mugging.” Kavanagh wrote, “As soon as he came across the situation he knew physically his MMA and BJJ training he’s being doing for years would make the situation manageable but he had the presence of mind to set up phone to capture video to protect himself.”

Kavanagh noted that it is sad that individuals now have to think about recording situations before aiding a person in distress to avoid potential legal actions being taken against them.

“Even with this video he has concerns however I think his only concern should be where he’s going to pin all his hero medals,” the sports and fitness instructor tweeted. “After incapacitating the would be attacker he consoled the girl and brought her to where she was going.

Kavanagh added, “Thank you Andy Murrah for being a brave hero and showing all that is good about @SBG_Ireland where we make good men and women dangerous for bad people.”

In response to the viral video, many social media users commended the good Samaritan for jumping into action and defending the girl from the suspected attacker. Social media users also criticized governments for failing to prioritize the safety of European citizens.

One social media user wrote, “Bravo to that brave man! Governments need to prioritize citizens’ safety. This isn’t the Ireland of old, where people walked free without fear. We must question leadership and demand accountability. Stay vigilant, everyone!”

Another social media user tweeted, “I feel so Bad for the women in Europe! It’s not a safe place.” A third social media user asked, “I wonder if we are about to see the age where men stand up and start patrolling our own streets to keep our women safe?”
