An ABC 24 news crew was interviewing a local community leader about crime solutions when more than a dozen gunshots rang out. The community leader, who identified herself as Yolanda, took cover while urging the ABC 24 crew to do the same.

“Get down. Just stay down and get down,” Yolanda says calmly in the video. “It’s ok. Thank you Lord Jesus. Just stay down and get down. You’re ok. Thank you Lord for the blood of Jesus that covers us. Thank you Father for the blood of Jesus.”

Yolanda continues to pray while comforting the the news crew.

After the shooting ends, Yolanda stands up and says, “Alright, we should be alright.”

“Drive by?” she adds casually. “Yep, you saw it? The black car.”

ABC 24 wrote on their website that “thankfully everyone was ok” in the wake of the shooting.

“Our crew was interviewing a Whitehaven community leader when shots rang out from across the street,” ABC 24 said.
